fefemslashweek is running from Feb 25 - March 2 this year.20wars. This is a throwback to an old challenge comm on LJ that I just started up, it will be officially opening to fic-posting on the 23rd (next Friday). Rules are in the info, no claims, totally low-pressure.
sarajayechanA week of themes centered around Fire Emblem f/f pairings. Tumblr hosted such an event 6 years ago, but it hasn't been repeated since and it deserves a revival or a spiritual successor.
I'd be very willing to get the ball rolling: making the comm, coming up with prompts, co-modding, wrangling tags. This post is for drumming up interest in such an event.
Once I knew there would be enough interest I'd try to pick a good week for holding it.

Redemption Reapers
Dec. 15th, 2022 09:20 amkallowayPublisher Binary Haze Interactive and developer Adglobe have announced tactical RPG Redemption Reapers, set to release for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) in February 2023.
Their new project, Redemption Reapers, is not only a tactical Fire Emblem-like in appearance, but it also has veteran developer Masayuki Horikawa on board, who has worked on a variety of Fire Emblem titles in various capacities, including directing Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance & Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, scenario design on Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, among other positions.

jajalalaAAAAA this one shows almost all the characters (aside from Jeritza and TWISTD members) INCLUDING the Ashen Wolves, and has a bit more implication as to what the story might be!!!
And it's revealed there's a demo out now?? I will try to download it this week, I'm rather busy but this is exciting news!

Aaaa they showed a little actual gameplay in this one! And they mention three different paths... so will this also have the three possible timelines? I wonder how they'll balance that.
( My thoughts below on some more specifics! Watch the trailer first if u wanna experience it without spoilers )

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes

Personally I'm excited! It's a delight to see the three house leaders with new hairstyles (except Claude for the most part... guess the developers were like "He's already perfect" and kept him the same 😆). I hope the other house members come back, I like them (and would welcome an additional design for each!)
I do wonder if this one will also have three routes... or even the much-desired "golden route"

First announced along with FEH and Echoes, what, almost two years ago now (... ouch), for a 2018 release -- then staggered through to E3 2018 with a trailer that told us virtually nothing and a date pushed to the first stretch of 2019.
Six months of radio silence later, we're looking into 2019 and yeah. Nothing. No further characters, plot, game mechanics, names, nothing. None of the characters seen in the trailer are in the splash art for the revamped Fire Emblem World (yet), either.
I suppose the Expo in May could involve it, but five months into the year is "spring" by a technicality --
What do folks think? I mean, I was less than impressed by the E3 trailer but I'd kind of like something, anything else to gauge a better opinion from, you know? Hell, is the game going to blow past another release date (range), or ...?

I wrote a Chrobin Ship Manifesto (or at least a very clunky version of that) and figured might as well post a link. Since (I think) it falls in the community content guidelines! It's a bit old, from way earlier this year, but I figured it would be a fun thing to test the waters with. Also to gush about how much I like the Chrom/Robin ship.
