[ After the war, Volke picks up a new hobby, and it's unraveling why Ilyana is so hungry all the time. Ilyana's new hobby is him, and being the vessel of a god.

"Shh," Hope soothed, a foreign yet familiar tone to his voice. "Wake up."
Red eyes peered into hers.
"Yana…" Volke muttered. "You were crying in your sleep."
The sky was just starting to tinge towards that muddy blue-into-yellow of early dawn.
"Oh… oh, I'm… I'm sorry, I keep waking you up…"
He kissed her, mouth gentler on hers, fingers grazing her cheek.
"Don't worry about it," he said. "Go back to sleep. You're fine."
