Aaaa they showed a little actual gameplay in this one! And they mention three different paths... so will this also have the three possible timelines? I wonder how they'll balance that.


And it looks like the protagonist of the game is going to be the purple haired person we saw a tiny bit of in the first trailer (and they have a name now! "Shez"). Sounds like they're a mercenary! And yet, Byleth is still there... as the Ashen Demon?? :O Unclear what role Byleth will play, antagonistic?

Also loving a lot of the new character designs!!!! Hilda's cute bun, and a pink-haired guy who must be her brother Holst??? Plus Dedue's rocking a lil stubble. And I mean this in the nicest way, but I think Lorenz actually looks really cute with his new haircut (sorry to him but his pre timeskip is Not It and his post timeskip is only marginally better).


Anybody else have feelings on the gameplay we've seen? Suspicions about the story hinted at? Screaming about the new character designs?

Looks like fairly standard musou gameplay so far. Honestly, I would have preferred a unified storyline; I only ever played the one in Three Houses because I couldn't deal with the entire school sequence all over again. But I suppose we'll see how it goes?

At least there should be a lot to it. Every musou game I've played has just had oodles of content all over the place, so I'm basically expecting that.

I wonder if they're already planning DLC.

Oooh I've never played a musou game, so I'm interested to see how it plays! It looks fun with the large attacks.

And ahahaha the repeating school sequence was always such a drag... I wished there was an option to automatically skip all cutscenes at least, at some point I ended up skipping every single cutscene as soon as it loaded, but I had to wait for it to load each time.

The last FE musou was pretty good, and class-wise I expect them to use a lot of the same move-sets from it (which were very similar to some from other franchise musous, so basically - play one, get a good idea as to how any other will play) and whatnot. Specials and combos are always a lot of fun.

Yeah, I just couldn't do the whole thing with a different set of characters I didn't like as much, again and again. Maybe someday, but not for a long time.

I had no idea they were dropping that this morning! I'm definitely surprised they went the 3 routes (I was so confident it would be a golden route) but SURE, why not, hook me back up with these shenanigans again!

I'm a Blue Lion's girl so seeing the new Dedue and Mercedes designs were exciting!! And I want to see Byleth really earn that Ashen Demon title, but as the antagonist? I'm having doubts Byleth's a true antagonist, I feel like it's meant to lead into a much larger story instead.

I've never played a Warriors game... so this style of FE game is new to me. Very excited to get into it!

Same, there's definitely something bigger at play here. Especially since the first trailer seemed to be from Byleth's POV.

I'm also someone who hasn't played a Warriors game, so looks like we'll both be learning how it works to see our beloved characters and story!

I have only played the first Fire Emblem Warriors, and it's pretty fun. Sending the characters to take down forts/enemies is fun, but sometimes I forget to keep track of them and suddenly Chrom is half dead in the middle of the battlefield because I wasn't paying attention to what he was doing.

I'm a bit meh about having 3 routes again. I want to do the Golden Deer before this game comes out, but I HATE the Academy Phase, and now I fear that Three Hopes will have an equivalent to that part of the game that I'll have to replay if I want to play all the routes.
